From myself:

Exactly ten years ago, at the Communication in Art class in Sydney, I was asked to write an Artist Statement. Ten years later, here it is:

I’m warm, curious and engaged; I’m quiet, gentle and analytical. I grow a little with every piece of life experience, and what comes out of me is a symphony of love for life. For to live a life itself is a continuous creation of art.

I was asked by every person close to me ‘What made you you?‘ - resilient, ‘nuchter‘, the narrowest triangle on a spin wheel, everything in one person.

It is the uncontrollable urge I was born with to make connections with people and things. It is the complex upbringing. It is more, that I don’t know yet, but every day I know a little better, and with that I live more freely.

Well. I say anything besides self-exploration and self-liberation in this life is poopoo ;)

It’s nice to be me.

From my loving friends:

You like to explore boundaries when you’re interested. Your feelings and thoughts are so diverse, intense and rapidly evolving, and you communicate them so beautifully well, that they both draw people deeply to you, and scare people off.

That’s you being you.

And that’s okay.

I find your personality attractive. And you’re pretty - you should own that too, babe.
